Full-time contract Civil Engineer 3 position. This position will provide high-level civil engineering support, primarily providing Fiber Optic expertise assisting Project Engineers, Project Managers and other engineering personnel with implementing Transmission projects, supporting field maintenance crews and support TELP engineering activities. May involve up to 20% travel within the client's service area.
Requirements Include:
• Bachelor's Degree from an ABET accredited college/university in civil or mechanical engineering.
• 10+ years' professional experience in utility design and/or construction.
• 5+ years' experience with Fiber Optic industry methodology, design, set-up and construction, including creating splicing schematics and overlay drawings, cable set-up, and mid-sheath splicing techniques.
• 10+ years' experience in site civil construction inspection.
• 10+ years' experience working with transmission or substation civil drawings involving site layout issues.
Technical Requirements:
• Knowledge of structural/civil engineering concepts, principals, and practices applicable to components and facilities found on a regional transmission system.
• Preferred strengths would be in areas of surveying, hydrology and civil engineering.
• Analyzing and designing complex transmission/substation structures.
• Coordination for the design and construction of various facilities including project scheduling and estimating.

Job Title: Semiconductor Application Engineer-Home Office-Portland, OR location
Location: Western Region, Oregon, 97214, United States

Perform deployment and application support for INFICON semiconductor products focusing on sensor integration with our FabGuard Software platform and semiconductor process equipment. Position will be based in Portland OR, supporting a major manufacturing facility in Hillsboro OR and its sister facilities worldwide.
• Deploy and Support sensor integration and FabGuard Software Platform on broad array of semiconductor process equipment..
• Create recipes and data analysis of tool based sensors, INFICON sensors and the customer's sensors for the purposes of Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) using FabGuard
• Provide technical assistance within areas of specialty for customers.
• Provide written and oral feedback to the customer on applications work including process troubleshooting, recipe development, and installation procedures.
• Bachelor of Science degree in (Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related sciences) with 5 years' work experience
• Solid understanding of Semiconductor Processes and OEM tools including Lithography, PVD and CVD. Broad understanding of ALD, Etch and CMP is desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both external and internal customer relationships.
• Ability to adapt to various field situations and to foster strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Knowledge of Fault Detection and SPC, Computer Networking and Factory Automation, is required. Residual Gas Analysis (RGA), and knowledge of plasma physics is desirable.
• Requires strong Analytical Skills and Critical Thinking to Solve Complex Problems
• Requires strong organizational and computer skills.
• Ability to travel (approximately 20-25%), both domestically and internationally.

Job Summary:
Public Works Engineering is looking for an Engineer 2 who will report to a senior engineer. This position will provide support to the department for development plan review. Projects may include, but are not limited to, street and traffic system improvements; sanitary sewer, stormwater, and water system improvements; erosion control; and streetlight plans submitted by consultant engineers.

Examples of work responsibilities include:
• Reviewing, evaluating, analyzing and approving engineered plans for private development for conformance with design and construction standards.
• Coordinating review comments.
• Coordinate between consultant engineers and Public Works inspectors to resolve issues during construction.
• Develop standards, coordinate with other departments or jurisdictions on acceptable methods, proposes and implements programs.
• Review and approve costs submitted by consultant engineers.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must pass the pre-employment background check.
• Must have an Oregon Driver's license.
• Must have a driving record that meets the City of Salem's driving standards.
Education Required:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering or related field. AND
• Four years of experience in a related field. OR
Any combination of experience and training that demonstrates possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities as listed, and ability to perform the examples of work.

• Professional Civil Engineer License required.
